Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II.

Conclusion

The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II is by far the best telephoto zoom lens that we have tested. With a list price of US$2,399.00, the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II is definitely not a cheap investment; however, unlike digital SLR camera bodies, which you will trade every 1.5 years, this top-level lens will last you at least a decade and work great with all the upcoming Nikon digital SLR cameras. If you are a full-time professional photographer and a Nikon user, the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II is a must-have. For other people, this lens is probably just too big, too heavy, and too expensive.  TheNikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II has won the 2010 Technical Image press Association (TIPA) award in the Best Professional Lens category and the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) award as the European Professional Lens of 2010 – 2011.
