Fujifilm FinePix X100 Black Limited Edition.
Conclusion
The Fujifilm FinePix X100 is a very well-crafted compact digital camera with a range of useful functionality and excellent image quality, which is clearly aimed at enthusiasts or professional photographers. Beginners may find the fixed lens limiting, but experienced photographers will find that the high-quality 23mm f/2 Fujinon lens can fulfill most of their needs. People who are interested in video-recording may be better served by other digital cameras, since the X100’s standard 720p video recording feature does make it seem as though it is just an additional extra. But in terms of photography, the X100 won’t disappoint even the most experienced photographer.
As mentioned before, the Fujifilm FinePix X100 has only little competition on the market because there are only a few fixed lens compact digital cameras with a large sensor available. But in the fact, the X100 will be competing hard against other high-end compact digital cameras such as the Sony NEX series cameras which are actually mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras, since people tend to compare the the X100 with them. Moreover, with a price tag of U$1,200, it won’t be easy for the X100 to attract users. Anyway, the X100 may not be the camera for everyone, but it doesn’t change the fact that it is an excellent camera.
