Design

Speaking of design, the Polaroid PoGo CZA-10011 instant mobile printer should appeal to gadget geeks of any age. The PoGo’s exterior is made of plastic with the addition of some silver metal highlights. The PoGo is currently available in black, red, and pink, but Polaroid promised that it will be available in other colors as well. Measuring only 4.7” x 2.8” x 0.9” and weighing only 8 ounces, the PoGo is an eye-catching, small, and lightweight gadget. It is actually the world’s smallest and lightest portable photo printer to date.

Performance

The Polaroid PoGo CZA-10011 instant mobile printer is easy to use. Simply charge the battery, open the tray, put in the ZINK paper, and the printer is ready to be carried around and used anywhere. The ZINK paper comes in 10 or 30 packs, which are very convenient. Polaroid provides a cleaning sheet with each pack so you can clean everything inside the PoGo to ensure nice and clean photo-prints. Polaroid promises that a fully-charged battery can print up to 15 photos, but we could only reach 14 photo-prints in our test. Anyway, we believe that 14 photo-prints are still more than enough for those who carry around the PoGo in a single day.

The Polaroid PoGo CZA-10011 instant mobile printer needs only 60 seconds to print a photo over the PictBridge connection; however, printing a photo over the Bluetooth connection will take up to 2 minutes. The cost per print is currently as low as 33.3 cents if you use the 30-sheet ZINK paper pack. You should note that if you plan in using the PoGo for printing images from your mobile phone, you should first check for your mobile phone’s compatibility on the Polaroid’s website before purchasing the PoGo.
